Stop guessing and think of the possibilities! Divergent thinking is a concept that describes the ability to come up with various possibilities, pathways, or options to reach a certain goal, outcome, or desired state. Come hone your coaching skills as a coach or consultant, and learn more about the process of divergent thinking and its use within client services.
This workshop focuses on how divergent thinking exists within the coaching conversation as based on the findings of an exploratory study that was conducted to explore the importance and prevalence of divergent thinking within coaching and how to engagingly consult with clients. You can expect some knowledge sharing in term of the importance towards divergent thinking, as well as how and when it is mostly utilised within the coaching conversation.
Come hone your coaching skills as a coach or consultant, and learn more about the process of divergent thinking and its use within client services. This workshop aims to build on coaches’ and consultant’s knowledge base, whether it is new knowledge and practice, or whether it is a refresher that provokes some thoughts in terms of your current practice.
The workshop will consist of a half day interactive, engaging and a knowledge sharing experience.
The outcomes of this workshop are:
- Broadening your understanding of exploring and generating various possibilities, options, solutions or pathways
- Tools and techniques that stimulate thinking divergently
- When it is most fitting to apply divergent thinking within your practice
- Setting the stage for your client to explore best possible
